Financial files and calculator inputs
Ledgers, trial balances, mappings, adjustment journals and Office files are processed in your browser. CloseSentry does not transmit those files or the totals entered in the quick TB checker to a server. Exported copies are downloaded to your device. Active financial data, notes and formatting edits are lost on refresh or closing the tab; export them first.
Optional local history
Saving a close summary stores filename, entity, period, currency, entry counts, exception totals and progress in local browser storage. It does not save the underlying ledger as a recoverable project. Shared-device users may share that storage. Clear summaries from Close history when appropriate.
Website requests and search measurement
The hosting provider processes ordinary network request metadata to serve the site. Google Search Console gives the site owner search-performance reports; it does not require a visitor-tracking script in these pages. We have not added advertising pixels or third-party analytics scripts. Third-party links open services with their own privacy practices. A feedback email shares what you choose to send with the mail provider and the recipient; do not include confidential source files.
Professional review and responsibility
The software provides rule-based prompts and draft management statements, not audit assurance or accounting, tax or legal advice. You remain responsible for complete source data, evidence, classifications, journals, judgements and final reporting. No FX conversion, consolidation or complete statutory/IFRS disclosure package is provided. Browser formatting previews are estimates; inspect downloaded results in native Office before distribution.
Availability and payment
The current beta is free and has no payment checkout. It is provided as available without a guarantee of accuracy, uninterrupted access, search ranking or business outcomes. Preserve original files and exported records. If advertising, cloud storage or payment data flows are introduced, these disclosures must be updated before those features are enabled.
